If you are a serious photographer in search of the best entry level SLR digital camera on the market, but want to keep a budget of under $1,000 – you’ll want to hear about my new camera. It’s the best Canon EOS camera out there right now.
The Canon EOS Rebel T3i, which is known as the 600D in Europe, is an amazing camera for the price. I paid just under $900 for mine at Amazon, which has the best price at the time of this writing. If you’ve been doing any searches for the best Canon SLR, then you likely had the Rebel T3i come up in your searches. This camera is easy to handle and feels comfortable in your hands when you are shooting with it. As soon as my T3i got to my apartment, I was ready to give it a try and how it compared to my Rebel T2i (550D). After playing around with it for the afternoon, I think I’ll be selling the T2i and working exclusively with the T3i.
The Canon EOS Rebel T3i can take pictures in up to 18 MP and they are brilliant looking. The ISO ranges from ISO 100 to 6400, so that you can shoot in all different sorts of lighting situations. There is even a full HD movie option if you want to record some HD video with the camera. I tried it out and the quality look pretty good on it too.
What I find most impressive about the Canon EOS Rebel T3i is that, unlike the T2i, it has some high end features on it that you’ll find on the much more expensive 60D. The LDC monitor on the T3i is a tilt and swivel monitor. Using its internal flash, you can remotely control flashguns. And the sweet lens you get with the camera is the the 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 IS II. You can take some truly impressive photos with this camera.
